Abel Carrico is a Brazilian missionary, pastor, songwriter, and member of Mountain People Worship. Originally from Rio de Janeiro, he moved to the United States after sensing God’s call to missions at the age of 17. Together with his wife, Nicole, he attended Iris Global’s Harvest School in Mozambique before settling in Greeneville, Tennessee, to serve vulnerable children. Today, they lead Iris Greeneville, and Abel serves as a pastor and elder at The Rock Church. His ministry brings together worship, discipleship, and practical care for people in the Appalachian region.
